Unhappy AP1 v AP2

Ya'll are my new town and new cohort of Honda-philes, so I really wanna know what you think of this.

I've heard that when Honda switched a few things for 2004, they made some things better and some things worse.

I'm not really sure what all of the changes were--I'm familiar with the different redline, the more spread out torque band, and the cosmetic updates--but are there any advantages of sticking with AP1 over AP2?

I personally like the AP1 rear bumper and lights while the front end got much nicer looking after 2004...

...but yeah, I'm stumped other than that!

AP1 says, "Grrr! My 3rd Gear is Longer!" and AP2 says, "Your breath stinks whitey, and your Differential blows-up a lot!"

I agree with medicalstudent but the increased torque in the ap2 is nice for daily driving along with the stylish front fascia

It's a matter of subjective preference. You'd really need to drive both and determine where you stand. If you want opinions there are thousands of old posts you can read through on the subject.

The AP2 looks better imo, even though there are only subtle changes, nothing too big. The AP2 also is easier to drive on a daily basis, imo.
