Dang-it! I just took my car to a hand car wash today, and they left the keys in the seat. When the person got in to wipe the windows, they scraped the keys across the leather leaving a big gouge! Arrgh!! Now I have scraped leather, a dent in the front right fender, and someone also pushed my rear bumper in about a 1/2 inch when I left it parked in a full lot. Ugh! I feel like i'm driving a beater now. This sucks!

I can get the outside stuff fixed easily enough. But what the heck do I do about the leather? Can that section be replaced? I'm so pissed, this is the first car I've seriously taken care of, and other people just want to beat the crap out of it. I can't win!

 

FIRST of all like you said, the guy while cleaning the window messed up your leather. The car wash is responsible to replace the leather on your seat. You can go to a local leather shop to see if they can fix the leather by blending in the color. Or another solution is you can get a Sparco racing seat.

that's why i never trust other people to touch my cars unless its some job i cannot do myself. there are just too many sloppy people around.

 

I know what you mean, I just recently had 4 dings taken out of my door.
The door was perfect, now I have 5 MORE dings, in 6 months time.
What is up with that? Do we have really soft metal in the skins?
I'm sure it was HATERS because nobody gets that many dings, especially
being as careful as I am where I park. Houston s2k haters suck!!
It is hard to have something nice like our car.
