Clicking and Creaking noise from the s2k
I'm getting the creaking noise from the passenger rear tire. I wasn't sure at first what it was. When i do hear the noise it would be when i accel and brake a few times. (Im guessing the heat makes the rear start creaking) Has anyone had this problem yet? sounds like metal creaking noiseI'm also getting the clicking noise when im in reverse then shift to Neutral. (one click)
Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and what you all did to resolved it.
I did a quick search and found this

i have the same problem and its getting worst.
it use to do it when it gets hot in reverse or in 1st gear. now it does it in second gear.
brought it into honda, it was the rear mount seals. it had cracked. it took take 1 month to order the parts. they keep ordering the wrong part. had to find this out after bringing in the car to the dealership. on top of that they don't do loaner cars. wasted 2 saterdays to find this out.
after they replace the rear mount seals, it did not fix the problem. we know our rear end on the s2000 are WEAK and they know this. so they try to do a quick fix. I have zero time to take it in. honda services sucks everywhere, after all we brought a honda, not an bmw or porsche.
I am sick of honda, this is the LAST HONDA i will ever own. love being treated like a civic owner when you buy an s2000.

I have had this exact problem before. When accelerating from a stop slowly, you can hear clicking noises coming from the rear.
This is an easy fix. Remove the spindle nut and grease the splines and/or re-torque the spindle nut. This was done on mine and the problem has never resurfaced.
Hope this helps,
Dale
