Default Cloverleaf near down-town

Anyone driven the cloverleaf? It's four circular exits off of Allen Parkway going towards downtown. I test drove a BMW 330ci and the salesguy directed us there to test the cars handling capabilities. Happy to say I made everyone (including myself) a little queasy with my "spirited driving." Incredibly fun and plan on taking the S2k out there soon. If I can find it again.

I'm assuming this is the entrance ramp onto I-45 N-S. Yes I know it. Yes I stomp it. It's right by my TH so I run by it everyday on my way to work. So are you the crazy one that almost wrecked turning onto Bagby from Elgin? If so, you need driving lessons. BTW the car was charcoal gray.

No, I was not the crazy one. I was test driving a black 330ci and the car handled extremely well as the salesman encouraged me to take the corners fast. Not sure we're talking about the same area. The cloverleaf (which I'd never heard of until this test drive) consists of four circular exits. I drove it twice without anything close to being an accident. The queasiness referred to had more to do with the dizzyness one feels after quickly turning in circles eight times.

I believe you are referring to the cloverleaf that is right around where Memorial hits Shepard. It's between the Galleria and Downtown on Memorial. Just cruze Memorial along this strip and you will find it for sure. I saw a Grey S2000 there on a wet day in June or July. It had spun around and hit the curb... be careful, there's not much room for error if you break loose.

Turbeau,

Sounds like the place and you're right about there not being much room for error. I was amazed at how well the 330ci held the road at high speeds around the corners. Not sure I would feel as confident in my car though I will give it a shot when the weather clears. Also, have to be careful when re-entering the roadway as I believe it's only two lanes.
