Default Damn Soft Top

I was thinking how lucky I been without a softtop problems and yesterday after washing the car, I notice a small hole on the rear pass. side by the window. Looks like just wear from rubbing against the softtop frame. They sell patches or when it gets to big, get a new soft top??

depends on how big it is... if its not that bad, then just go to Academy or some sporting goods store and buy a gortex (i think that is what it is called) patch and put it on there.

I am going to try to see if the dealership will doing anything because i saw the link with the service bulletin. If not, patch for now and replacement in the future.

Worth a shot but its an uphill battle. Its a TSB and not a recall so they don't have to fix it.

^I don't think you should post that kind of stuff on the forums sir

Anyways meee too, I have holes developing on my soft top, they are like little tiny dots not noticeable BUT if you look from the inside you can see light going through they are like pencil dot holes my are getting bigger everytime I drop the top. And every time I drop the top Im afraid the holes are getting bigger. I been observing the convertible top going up and down and the way the s2k top folds up man its pretty harsh on the top.
