Doesn't even matter as long as you got cash in your account and don't anyone diddly. You are good!
I was debt free for a long time but didn't have any toys. I realized my grandfather lived his entire life pinching pennies. At age 78 he paid cash for a house in west Miramar, FL but died 2 years later. I think finding the perfect balance between frugal and enjoying your life is my ultimate goal. Sort of why I'm holding off on certain purchases and trying to go to Europe this year.

I'll fully enjoy life when I'm 59, retired, and cash in on my roth IRA. For now, its grind and save. Have little trips here and there.

I'm not licensed to. Its pretty simple. Open a roth IRA at a discont brokerage. Figure out how much you want to contribute a month. I believe max is 5k a year. Whatever you contribute that fiscal year, you can take out in case of emergency. You can have that and your 401k if you like. I just have a roth that I contribute to and the rest goes in savings/investments.

As far as insurance goes, after mine expired, I just switched it to David's insurance policy. Old man price FTW!!! Never got questioned about it. I figured if I did, I would tell the cop I'm in the middle of moving here and switching everything over.
