Default Glass

Bolt flew off the back of a semi hauling a skid on I-10 today. Cracked my windshield pretty good (concentric circles about the size of my fist). Anyway, going to contact insurance on Monday, but anyone know of any good glass places? Really pisses me off, seems like the more I try and take care of it the more shit seems to try and kill it....

Juan's Auto Glass
2798 W Mount Houston Rd
Houston, TX 77038

The place looks ghetto but believe me, this guy has the best price in town and quality glass, turn around time within 1-2 hrs once the glass is at the shop.
I've taken my car before to an "insurance" shop and after labor glass and misc, it was the cost of an OEM glass almost but the quality of the glass was shit.
Plus the Juan's auto glass guy has the shade at the top which helps with glare.

^ Thanks guys, I'll check both of them out. I have to call insurance back on Monday to see if they're going to help out or not. Either way I'm going to end up getting the windshield replaced (it's that bad). Did either of them replace the seal around the windshield as well? I was looking at it today and debating whether or not I should go ahead and order one from Majestic...

I highly doubt the insurance will cover much. They may cover the "quick" fix up to a certain amount but that's about it. If nothing is wrong with your seal then don't replace it. The Juan auto glass can reuse it. The shit shop that did a shit job literally sliced mine up and told me it was damaged, very shady of them, how do I know that?! Juan auto did not replace the seal on any cars I've taken and no problems whatsoever.

I don't remember exactly how much it was, maybe $140-160 altogether. The last car I brought there was a Scion XA and it was $120. I did forget to mention a very critical detail, he only accepts cash FYI.
