Default Got some questions.

So i wish i could turbo a s2k but its a DD and i don't want that much strain on the motor.

What i want is around 300hp No major mods...
Is that possible?

I could see intake exhaust a nice tune getting to around 300hp?

I'm not to familiar with vtec engines on a s2k i just know there peak power is around 5k rpm
With a nice tune is it possible to decrease that time where i can hit vtec at like 3500rpm?

Also where is the best places to go in houston to get work done?

Give me what ever y'all have in mind as a power mod that isn't to major No SuperCharger or TurboCharger.

Sorry to tell you, but the most you are going to make with simple bolt-ons N/A is about 250WHP. I actually think that is being very generous. The S2000 is a very fine tuned vehicle right from the factory. It is hard to improve them with out Forced Induction. If you got fully built motor 2.4/2.7 stroker with ITBs you may hit 350WHP, but that requires more work than FI.

What kind of "work" are you wanting done? (Installs, Fabrication?) I am doing all of my installs myself, but I am going to Inline Racing for all of my fabrication/tuning.

like 9k said, you're never going to hit those numbers NA, the motor is high stung and the bolt-ons gains are not even worth it unless you want some kind of JDM points or sound.

if you want a reliable 300 ish there is the comptech, sos kits superchargers that can run you from 2500-4000 used (hell sometimes less) or the Greddy kit, inline pro turbo kits that will run you about the same. and these kits are reliable. i have full a/c, radio, decent gas mileage (17/25) on my kit. i strongly recommend not going the NA route a lot of time and money is spent on the car and it gaining... maybe 12-20 hp for the same price...

oh and if you're really off-put by FI, i guess you can spray. a nice 100 shot will get you there. but, you're going to have to battle some different issues there.

Swap in an LS engine lol. Then you will have torque and not have to worry about heat or pressure strains.

Or check out my buddy's J35 swap if you want to keep it in the honda family.

No such thing. This question is asked all the time so definitely refer to the existing threads.

Installs i guess if i want to hit 300-350hp i'm going to need to go FI. So who does the best job on Turbo installs... I need it reasonably priced and done fairly fast since it will be my DD.

So i know that both of those will put me above 300hp. I would probably go Turbo. What are the supporting mods i will need to do to have a nice reliable engine/transmission around 300-350hp?

TRUTH! Get ready to start dumping money! All I have to say is, do it right the first time. Don't buy some B/S kit, go with a nice kit the first time. (You'll waste less money this way)

if you're going to go FI take your budget and double it. also get ready to wait in line for a competent tuner who won't put your motor on full tilt and blow it.

btw. stainless steel and AN fittings, intercooler couplers, fuel pumps, random shit will nickel and dime you to death. don't forget that you're going to be at least 800 in the hole buying a stand-alone EMS. none of that VACF bullshit.
