The Gun Thread
my custom ar-15. I am in the process of making a 2nd upper receiver with a 20" Barrel.
Current setup is:
New Frontier Armory LW-15 Polymer Lower Receiver
BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle
Fail Zero's Exo Coated BCG
PSA's m4 16" Barrel
Magpul's Pmags
Magpul MBUS Rear Sight.
Its my first rifle and wanted to keep it inside a budget, but I already let it out of hand haha! planning on buying Eotech's holosight next after i finish the new upper.

Thanks David.
I will probably make this a CQB rifle for relative close target shooting and plinking, so I want a holographic sight, red dot or fiber optics. If funds allow a trijicon acog, otherwise an eotech xps2 with biohazard reticle

You could go with the one similar to the one pictured on that rifle, I have one of these:

Since I sold all my handguns except for my Ruger LC9(which is being sold also), I'm looking just to have a small one to conceal that has a higher caliber.
Going with either the Springfield xd-s or Smith & Wesson M&P Shield .40 S&W.

I'm pushing more towards Springfield's xd-s lol

Everyone speaks highly of LaRue's quality, customer service, and support, which is what made me decide to go with them. The good thing is that you don't have to pay anything until they ship it out and if you do decide to cancel it, you can without incurring any fees.
I don't know too much of building ARs yet and some of the builds I saw on the forums didn't interest me much. If you know of some interesting ones, post up links
