if a ak isnt using a 7.62x39mm rounds, its not a true ak

 

Sheeit they switched to 5.45 in the 70's.

 

I was only joking, I had a chance to fire a full auto ak47 with 7.62x39mm rounds @ The Arms Room, omg the kick lol!

 

I was going to ask that as well. Would you guys get it in 5.56 or 7.62? Since my AR will be 5.56, I was thinking I should get this one in 7.62, but not sure yet.

 

I say if you're getting an AK get either 7.62 x 39 or 5.45 x 39. The ammo is already inexpensive, expand your collection beyond 1 caliber. The one you have a link for is 5.45. The upside to a 7.62 AK are the availability of 75 rd drums for them.

 

Didn't even pay attention to the different caliber size, lol.
Taking my chl soon. Once that's done, I will pick one up. Need to research a bit more until then, to make sure I'm getting a quality one. I guess wood furnishings can always be added on later... if I were to get an arsenal.
