typical ap1's(00-03) can go for about 10-13k with approx 50,000 miles.

As for being worried, I'd get a prepurchase inspection from a reputable honda dealership. Its a couple hundred bucks for piece of mind.

 

Is there anyway I can get the red interior pieces / blue ones even though mine are black, and if so where? Does the dealership have them?

 

It'll be expensive from the dealer. Look in the main for sale section for guys that part out their cars. Definitely cheaper.

if you get a 00-01 get a low mileage one and change the banjo bolts out. that way your cyl walls get lubed properly and wont scorch leading to the oil burning issue.
