Fridays @ Clear Lake appear to be off for now.

Yesterday, several of us "OLD" guys were at the SE meet and were run off by 10pm.

The cops said that last week the parking lot had alot of damage, ie.. broken lights, trees, and sprinkler heads. Not to mention the usuall burning rubber and the such. The shop owners signed a complaint and what is done is done.

We all drove accros I45 and meet at another Starbucks for a couple hours and then said good night. Had a good time in spite.

To: Lips2000 aka Mark aka Crazy, had fun on the way home, you my man need to be committed!

I've enjoyed making the trip south on Fridays, don't know what to do now?

Another spot will develop... that was a good one though.

 

Just a thought...there's an old Builders Square in the Woodlands that is unoccupied. Maybe we can contact the property management people and request to use their enormous parking lot. I've seen several different "events" there in the past (practice driving, etc.).

You think those immature folks would behave with the lights out, I don't.

 

You could still use the clear lake starbucks as a meeting place, you just need to park closer to starbucks and buy a drink. At least that is what the police told me when they told us that everyone had to leave. Also I think alot of it had to do with the christmas shoppers and the fact that the stores are open until 11:00p.m. until after christmas. I stayed there until about 11:30, and I will be there again this friday.
