do any of you have a front license plate on the car and if not where do you put it or if you don't even have one have gotten pulled over for not having one?

 

I got pulled over in my previous car, it was an eclipse. I didnt get a ticket though, just a warning. I was in Beaumont by the way.

Yes, they do issue tickets in Houston for NoFrontPlate(NFP). They are not Fix-It tickets anymore. You have to pay the fine in Houston. I received 1 NFP ticket in my last 3 cars..

 

some of us have zip-tied the plate to the grill so it doesn't look so bad. Perhaps you could try that?

Joe - what is the fine for no front plate ?? I really like the looks of the car without it.....but if it is going to cost me a bundle...

fort bend mine was 80 ..., at da time i had a civic ..., i was targeted meaning singled out 2 get da ticket ..., she asked where i was going i said 2 my shop
she stopped by later on in da week asking for a hook up i was like u gave me bs ticket there were plenty of other cars dat day with no plate either i even showed her she rolled her eyes at me..., o i remember ...,it was 80 or so for da fine

no hookup for her

 

i've never gotten a ticket for NFP. haven't had it on since i've gotten the car (1 year + ago)

but i've gotten ONE on my old car. which back then you could dismiss and just pay the court fee (10 bucks)

 

Haven't had one on the car since the day I pulled out of the dealership (3 Years and counting) and I have never gotten a ticket for it.... even after getting pulled over for speeding....em..... eh...... several times
