you should notice from a distance what the tread looks like on the OEM S02's. we're currently updating the faq section - redoing it entirely - so that info should be in there next week.
the gig fell through? hmmm, I guess a small head and your guitar in the case go in the front seat? not much room for anything else. heck, I have to use my softcase if I take my bass anywhere. and head? well, that's about all I can manage, until I get the combo's speaker fixed.

Strat, Soft Case and little fender amp in the trunk along with pedal and stand. Amazing what you can get in that space if you are motivated!

If you are looking at the alternatives to OEM S02's, i would really recommend the Yokohama AVS Intermediates.
*almost* as sticky in dry, *much better* in the rain, last a little bit longer and are *a lot* cheaper.
