Default oh no!!!

Well, its happened! Someone hit my car : ( I was in a parking lot, she didnt see me and pulled out hitting the drivers door and rear quarter pannel. It's difficult to open and close the door. Just when I thoughtr it couldnt get worse, she has NO insurance! My lucky day.
Just had to vent to someone who would understand!
Thanks guys
Stay safe

It's always the no insurance people that do crap like that. I hope you have uninsured coverage. You live in Texas, you should have gotten out your gun for some Texas justice.

Glad nothing happened to you.

Pitiful -- Get a rope.
If you can't find anyone you trust to fix it, talk to Dr. Goodbody in La Porte.
They have done incredible work I never thought possible.

Kris,
Sorry to hear about your car. At least you're okay! Let me know where you decide to get your repairs done because I'm in the market for a front-end paint job soon.

Billman,

She'll get nothing from the legal system. Last year, the day after my Dad bought his new truck, he was hit in a parking lot too. That lady didn't have insurance either. A cop showed up and said that he couldn't cite her for "failure to maintain" insurance since this transpired on a parking lot.

The lady said she was sorry and that she'll take care of it. The next day, my dad called that lady. Her husband answered and said that "We're not gonna pay you one red cent!".

My dad's insurance took care of the damage, but mentioned that they were going to go after that lady to recover the money. I'm not sure what happened after that, but she probably got off scott free.

yep you cant do anything if it happened in a parking lot

the only thing you could possibly do would be sue the person who hit you. more than likely they wont have the ability to pay you though ... sux that people are so irresponsible

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the encourging words. Since she wouldnt show me ID or ins. I called the cops. ( Helps when you have connections ...(wink)) She was ticketed for failure to yeild the right of way and no ins. so my ins will go after her. I was right in front of her when she pulled out. I tried to get out of the way but had no where to go.
What a day, I'm meeting the ins adjuster in the a.m. for a quote, But I'm having the work done at clear lake honda's body poeple.

Joe- thanks a bunch, i'll let you know when and where I get her painted. I hope they paint the whole car, not just the new parts.
Your right I doubt if anything happens to her. And the only thing that happened to her truck was that some of my RED paint got on her bumber !!! UUUGGGGG!!!
See ya!!

Kris,

Everytime you mention ins. in your post, I can't help but think of the real INS(Immigration and Naturalization Service).

Scary.!

Good luck with the adjuster tomorrow.

Joe
