I work for Sprint located off of Grogans Mill. Hey if you're looking to lease, might as well purchase a townhome at my place. The builder is TCRS and it's great.

Check out this site and see what you think.

I live in the Heights and work up by the intercontinental airport. The commute is a breeze and going a bit further to the Woodlands wouldn't be that bad.

The Heights is an awesome area if you like the flavor and if you're from Austin, you probably will...:-)

Cheers

The nice thing about the heights also is that you get a break on your mortgage rates. because its a historic area. I live just outside the heights off of TC Jester, in a new development. Access to all the major freeways is great. I work up by Intercontinental airport and the morning and evening commute is smooth flowing. Certainly beats living by Greenway (59S @ Buffalo Speedway), I couldn't handle the morning and evening traffic by the Galleria, its an absolute nightmare over there.

You may be in luck. In the past few months the housing market inside the loop has switched from a seller's to buyer's market. I realize you're not looking to buy but that means that most of the homes that were for sale in the Heights are now just for lease. Walking around the other day I was surprised at how few houses were for sale in the neighborhood now, but plenty to rent! Definitely check it out.

Thank you for all of the feedback. It looks as though my wife and I will be in Houston again in a week to look further. This really helps a lot. Does anybody know of a good leasing realtor????

I can't wait until I get my BB on Houston highways, look forward to GTGs.

i live in stafford. its still in fort bend county but the 59 freeway is fully expanded and the traffic is not nearly as bad as when you get closer to sugar land. they haven't widened the bridge over the brazos river and until they do that its down to 2 lanes past hwy 6. i moved up 59 from sugar land when i moved out of my rents house and i love the location its only a zip up the freeway to work on post oak @ 610.
