Hello all,

I set up the S2000 Challenge series in California, hosted by Speed Ventures (www.speedventures.net). I have begun reserving track dates for next year in Texas. I was thinking of having four events, two at Texas World Speedway and two or so more at other tracks. Obviously TWS isn't that accessible for all Texas drivers, but I thought you guys might be interested in attending the TWS events anyway and would also want to put in your two cents about which other tracks in Texas I should reserve dates for.

Let me know. The dates I have reserved for TWS in 2003 are: April 12th/13th; and October 11th/12th. So put them down on your calendar for next year. The goal is to get the largest gathering of S2000's for these track events. Social activities can also be arranged by local members obviously.

The S2000 challenge is for first timers, intermediate, and advanced drivers. We have a competitive race qualifying series, as you can see on our website, but we also welcome those who just want some hotlapping fun and some instruction for performance driving. Other makes of cars are welcome; we have a rather beefy Corvette Challenge also out West.
