I think what Alex meant is dollar for dollar, you might make out better with a regular s2000 with mods for similar to superior performance. I haven't had a chance to price it out but its definitely possible.
I understand that, but engine performance can be tuned to perfection on a dyno all day. But to get a suspension just right, you have to run lap after lap while making adjustments in-between. That

I did the mods dollar for dollar.I mean you can get an AP1 for 15k all day.Stiffer suspension, tires, etc. is not gonna add up to the $36k CR starting price tag.

Thats just ridiculous. For that much $$$ i would buy the new Evo.I think we can all agree that is true bang for the buck.
I totally agree with you buddy! Evos are a bang for the buck. I was a proud owner on an EVO for 1 day, thats till the parents found out I lied about the specs of the car when they read "turbocharged" on it ..... returned it the next day ( too many ricer tickets at 16 from my previous car)

http://automobiles.honda.com/s2000/ well if 36k is to much for a new 08 CR, i think i would caugh up the extra 2/3k for a new 08 CR, rather than pay 34k for a base model 08 s2k. what do yall think? A car always starts out new before its used. Somebody has to pay the big bucks for it sooner or later.
