That currently is in the lead in terms of my choices. Only thing I don't like is I can't upgrade the sound system. I have this badass amp and I can't put it in. At least in the vette or porsche I can install it with a new head unit.

I'd rather the comfort knowing the vette will not cost me more money to maintain.

man, just get the GS and save yourself a headache... your wallet will thank you for not choosing the porsche, and your eyes will thank you for not getting the vette...

oh, im still getting a porsche... i just dunno when...
my goal was to own one before i hit 30, but i don't see that happening as i see myself owning a condo before that... and i don't know when that will be either... sigh...

I'd do it but man its a huge undertaking. Like I said, the IMS issue is not if. Its when and you can't see the symptoms. Only way is to take the tranny off with the engine out. The upgrade from ln engineering is 895 for the bearing fix. But the labor to pull the engine out and reinstall everything is what is gonna cost. I want to say it was a few grand to do just that. If you spot it late like metal shavings in the oil filter. New engine is 20k because porsche does not disassemble and reassemble pieces of the engine. :facepalm: Boxster has the same problem.
