Patched the top and drove top down like 4x, so far so good, will test with hardtop and top folded for longer period later.
I would suggest any one who has a top to do this even if there's no prematurity on the top being worn out.

 

lol, just found out theres a REI store near the willowbrook mall. I will need to get these also since i have 2 small tears already.

 

they ran out of the clear and black tape so I tried the next darkest color. it actually matched pretty well. lol

I noticed after the meet that I got the tears. the spontaneous top down moment. gosh it was hot outside!

 

The REI store I went to was the one by Willowbrook and guess what? I bought the last tube lol. They've been out of the black ones and it comes with a lot, I can share with whoever.
