Thumbs up SoftTop and A/C problems

I know it's a weird series of questions to ask but...

I installed a brand new soft top on my car about a year ago. Recently I've had excessive noise coming out of the rear (no pun intended) and figured out it was the plastic window hitting the roll bars. Is this normal or was the top not installed correctly? How could I fix this?

Also, I've had a really loud buzzing noise coming from my A/C. Whenever I have my A/C on, I'll feel a loud vibration every minute or so. I'm not quite sure what this means? The A/C still blows cool but it just makes that loud noise. Has anyone had this problem?

AC clutch is engaging/disengaging creating that noise.

Top needs to be stretched properly. then in the back theres a metal top holder that pushes the top and creates that tension needed to reduce the slack causing your hitting noise

just my thought lol internet mechanics dont diagnose so well

If it is the "AC clutch," then it's annoying as hell and I'm pretty sure there's a trick to fixing the vibrations from it. But after researching, I've found nothing.

I think I can reduce slack on the top by stretching it right? Which metal top holder are you talking about?

Yep, replacing the whole system is expensive. Get ready to drop at least 1500 more on that car. You'll start to blow hot air soon. I'd get a mechanic to check your A/C system pronto.
