I'm interested in going to SMU's MBA program, how hard was it to get accepted? What was your GMAT score, undergrad GPA etc if you don't mind me asking? Also what the heck are they charging these days? I just graduated from UNT last August and I need to go back now or I never will.
over 70k.

the other program I applied to (i'm in waitlist purgatory here) is UT austin at DFW and they're total is 74k. SMU is more than that.

College became a "hobby" of mine in my pursuit to continually improve and be at the top of my game. BA, BS, MS, MD, PhD, residencies, and fellowship all while working full time and supporting a family. Goal now--->retire before 40!
I'm a bit confused here. I'm currently on the same path. Got a BA, PhD, and now I'm almost finished with medical school. By the time I finish residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship, I'll be 37 years old. Which leaves me 3 years to save up for my retirement. Where did I go wrong? How on earth did you work full time while working on a Ph.D or medical school for that matter? That's amazing.

Wow, that's pretty steep. How many credit hours is the MBA program total? Also, does that include room/board or just tuition without books and other fees etc?

Ah ok, I don't think I need room/board etc. Just planning to go at night during the weekdays and maybe a few saturday/online classes. I was hoping to spend about 50K at most and get it done with in a year and a half. I guess my only choices now are UNT or UTD

FWIW, SMU's PMBA program is ranked #10 in the nation. Their full-time program is ranked using different metrics and is quite a bit lower, though the curriculum is the same.

Is the PMBA tuition the same as the full time @ 75K+? Also which one has more stringent admissions requirements?
