On the 1st thread you listed, Steven, it indicates if you are getting misfires in multiple cylinders it is most likely not injectors because it is highly unlikely they would all go bad at the same time. I will however, see if I can borrow some known good ones from a local member and see if that alleviates the cel.

Eric, thanks for the advice and I will keep your tech in mind if I continue having issues and cannot find the source.

Im very tempted to just get a new/almost new head and have it built with upgraded parts to help ensure I do not go through this again, plus it would be extra fun when I eventually supercharge the S!

I would have thought as well not all the injectors could go out at once, Honda just said to check them. Also could be a different fuel issue. Have you got gas recently? Could be bad gas as well. Hard to try and diag a car online, but I would think fuel system since you have pretty much changed everything else. Also can you notice the misses, and what are the conditions when you notice it? Ie car hot/cold, part throttle low cam, wot in vtec?

One of the smart techs said do a leak down test as well. Possible bent valves. Hopefully not but its another idea of what's going on.

Yeah, I plan to do a leak down test, I just don't have the proper tools at the moment. Im picking up another built 2005 head tomorrow with new oem internals and 3k miles. Once I get that installed and the old one out I will be able to diagnose this issue and then send mine off to get rebuilt!

I have a 05 Head and a whole complete 04 engine. I just recently replace my engine and know at least 3 shops in DFW that do a great job of rebuilding head.

Well, I bought the 05 head with new oem parts just need to get it installed. Watts did the machining and head work. Also, I filled up on gas at a Texaco (I usually use exxon) and suddenly the light went off! This is weird bc I have been through several tanks of gas prior to this night with no success. I got home and scanned it and although the light went off on its own, the scanner still pulled 8 codes! misfire in 1-4, random, and a cpl pending...

It has since come back on though. The light is also a solid cel not the blinking variety.
