Anyone have any suggestions of places to use/not to use for tire service, specifically plugging up a leaky tire? I live in the the Uptown area, and would like to find a place relatively close.

I used Discount Tire when I had my Integra, but I don't really wanna go back to them unless I hear that people have gotten good service there (i.e. they didn't tear their wheels up).

 

I posted a thread about a week ago asking for advice on where to have a leaky tire fixed, and no one's replied yet. I don't want someone to mess my wheel up, so could someone please suggest a few places to/not to visit? Thanks in advance.

 

I know another owner that lives closeby that has good experiences with a tire company. Perhaps he will have a suggestion...

 

It would appear there are no good suggestions near your location. It seems you are not alone with your poor experience at "Discount".
I received good service at NTB in Irving and Discount Tire in North Arlington (nowhere close to your home). There was a mention of a good shop in Richardson last week.

I've heard good service from the discount tire up in plano off of central expressway - but they were asses at least to me.

I've had a horrible experience at the NTB in plano.
