Default car problems need some opinions

My dad called me this morning and told me he was driving my car and it just turned off. He turns it on and it imediatly turns back off. Does that every time he tries to turn it on. I'm thinkin fuel pump...My dad is in no way a speed demon and is the safest driver i know. Also in the recent few months my car has been havin A/F troubles....running lean and etc. Let me know if you guys have any opinions. Thanks

Why was your car running lean, did you do anything to modify the engine? If that's the case you may not be getting enough fuel, check the fuel filter, injectors etc.

There should be a CEL -- read the code if one is available, or read a history if you haven't reset the ECU.

not the battery. I'm thinkin fuel filter. Car isnt old enough to have fuel pump problems. Possibly a relay...When I turn the power on we cant hear the fuel pump turn on....

Check some fuses, I don't think you can hear the fuel pump turn on anyways in the S2k IIRC.

I had the same problem when I had my Prelude. The problem with the Prelude was a pinched hose that didn't allow air to get into the engine.
