I live right on the border of murphy and plano county. However, our house is in the plano. According to their website, carwash are not regulated and so it's ok for us to wash our car anytime of the days
Sweet...when can we all come over

Wow, there are laws on when you can wash your car out here in Tx? I need to look into them.

It's not specifically for when you can wash your car. The North TX area has been pretty low on water recently so they are putting a ration on water so it applies to when you can water your lawn/wash your car etc. We had to drive all the way out to Texoma to do our lake day this year and even that was pretty low (we docked in the middle of the lake on an island!)

Like uwimage said, the guy who did my car does basic washes to full detail, and he did an excellent job. And he does it without using any of your resources. Might consider him. It's Adam Geiser at www.detailtosell.com, or ar 214-769-5213.

The other option is to use the car wash stands... they filter and recycle their water so they can run anytime... There were some ppl talking about which one had nice soft brushes and such a while back but... I'm feeling too lazy to search so give it a look (or hope somebody chimes in w/ the info again).

Just thought I would show you my pain:

http://waterdata.usgs.gov/tx/nwis/dv?cb_72...erred_module=sw

Lake Tyler is down something like 9 FEET. Note: I used to brag that I had at least 7 feet of water off the end of my dock! Now I have 2 feet of dirt.

Pray for rain; hope for a Lake Day at the Tees Aquatic Complex.

Regards,

Al
