Does anyone have experience with their pads for track use in our summers? Autox? Currently, this is the only aftermarket company that makes race pads for my car

What kind of car do you have? As I'm sure you're aware, they have several different compounds available. I use the Panther+ for auto-x and track events with great results. Based on your needs, you may need a different pad.

For the S2000 they are great. I used them in front only on hot autocross days and fade was eliminated. The brake dust is horrible, if you car about that.

Thanks for the replies. I have a Mazdaspeed Protege...FF and similar in weight to the RSX-S I believe. I'm leaning toward the Panther Plus pads as well. Regarding the brake dust, I'll live with it if they don't fade during lapping sessions in August.

I have used several Carbotech compounds.
SSF, which is no longer available, was a decent autox pad. A little noisy and dirty, but not bad. Faded at MSR.

Panther - One step up. Took mode heat to work, but worked well.

Panther + - Similar step up. Needs a little heat. Wears pretty quick (I get 3-4 days on a road course, but my car is hard on brakes). Never made these fade.

Panther XP - Extreme bite. Needs some heat. So aggressive that they are more difficult to modulate. Once hot, they stop right now. No fade ever.

You can autox on any of them, I just drag the brake pedal on the way to the starting line to heat them up.

Great pads for track use, but lots of dusting issues, and they do squeel when cold.

Have you looked at the Cobalt friction line. They make similar quality pads. You may have some choices there.
