Just to be clear ... I'm not suggesting toe out on the rear.

Are you planning on sitting in the car while it is aligned? If you are particularly anal about it, you could also empty the trunk (spare, tools, etc.) and fill it with gas to your normal "autocross" level...

If you get a chance, I recommend measuring the ride height at all 4 corners again while it is on the rack. An alignment rack will be perfectly level.

I will be allowed to sit in the car and I will also measure the ride height tomorrow while I am at the shop, thanks for bringing that up. I planned on nothing in the trunk and I will try to have the same amount of gas.

so, Toe In Left 0.13" & Right 0.12" would be the way to go?

I was thinking about -1.5

Right now I have no inside tire wear in the front or the rear. I have gone through 3 sets of tires since purchase. race and street tires.

I am taking notes, so everyone keep posting their thoughts.

so .20 toe in on both sides would make a .4 total toe in on the rear?

would -1.5 camber be too much for street use?

NO 1.5 wouldn't be too much. I have run that with no untoward wear.

FYI I found that sitting in my car while being aligned changed the camber by .2 of a degree.

Was that .2 degree change in camber with the stock suspension? Lowering the car may make the change in camber higher, while adding stiffer springs will make the change in camber lower.

well, I just got back from the shop, they can't do it. The car is to low to get on their rack. He said it is about 1" too low for their rack. He said that a stock S doesn't have any problems.

Autoscope will probably be my next call, since so many owner's in in the club have had good experiences with them. The only down side is, this will be 1/2 my day to go up to Plano and then back down to Bedford.

I purchased the 30mm solid sway bar from MUZ, should I wait until that comes in, install it, and then do the alignment + corner balancing?

The sway bar shouldn't have any effect on your alignment, unless something is bent (sway bar, chassis, etc.).

That sounds pretty cheesy that they couldn't get it on their rack. I think they just thought it would be more trouble than it was worth considering your mods.

If you decide to take it to Autoscope in Plano, let me know, and I will drop by. I work just 1/2 mile away.
