Does anyone here have experience with the NRG engine dampers?

I'm looking into getting one here, and I've been told you have to cut your heat shield and fuse box to install it.

Anyone here ever installed one, or will be comfortable with installing one for me?

 

I researched it and it seems to be useless on the s2k. The engine does not have enough movement to really take advantage of a engine damper.

I have. NRG dampers - Pure Junk! I installed one on my civic and it was almost useless except for the underhood bling. J's Makes one for the S that supposedly works, but I think your $300 is better spent elsewhere.
