Default First Car problem encountered....

Hello Dfw my name is Steven, I just purchased a 2000 Gwp S2000. I've ran into my first problem as of last night. I was getting in my car and put the car in first gear and as I was driving, It started to bog around 2000-3000k. its a hard bog. But after that it drives fine. The previous owner put a fujita cai and made the fitment smaller so the filter sits right behind the radiator fan. So today i went ahead and changed out the plugs ju a best to see if maybe it was the plugs. It wasn't so then I put on the stock air intake on (the top vacum hose is to small where can i get a bigger one?) This still didnt fix the problem. I did the map whack too. What can it be? any advice? New map sensor? oyea my check engine light came out cause i cant fit one of the vacum hose on.

Mine seems to be doing that a little bit but after seeing numerous threads on bog i figured it was just this texas heat...s's are known for having bog issues in heat esp with the ac on. I am running a k&n fipk intake and greddy dual exh. One solution i have heard a little bit about is to do the hood vent mod (which i will be doing soon) or get a vented hood to allow heat to escape engine bay.
