I'm getting new rims/tires early next week, so I might as well sell the oem stuff. Never dropped the clutch and never gone autocrossing/tracking. I have documentation to prove I have less then 3000 miles on them if any potential buyers really wants to see it. I only drive the s2k when there's clear skies & mostly at nites to go on dates, clubbing & what not.

I just checked Tire Rack's website & they're selling them for $137 & $149 per tire. Add shipping ($32), mount & balancing ($80), it comes out to be $684. I'm asking $350 obo plus your near bald oem tires (W/oem wheels). So, all we have to do is swap oem tires/rims (Plus your cash ).

Your oem wheels/tires must be or near close to mint condition (Mine are) w/not too much uneven treadwear. The reason why I want someones near bald oem tires/wheels is b/c I'd like to have a backup set of wheels/tires just in case of any emergencies. PM or email me if you're interested. Thanks!

I might be interested - I have 22K on my car - original fronts measure 4-5 - second set of rears measure 3-5. My rims are mint and balance is perfect.

If you check your tread depth at 3000 miles it should be about 9 in front and 7 in rear. Have rears checked in 3 places as they sometimes wear more in one area.

I am retired so could come to Dallas for the switch.

Jimmy -

I think you sent me a PM,but I guess I am not bright enough to answer it so I am answering here.

You need to go to a tire store and have them measure the tread depth for you. They will give you a figure from 10 to 0.

If it is to much trouble just forget it, but I hope you can understand I don't want to drive 200 miles to be disappointed.
