Sory to hear Andrew. That sucks. I was in the same boat recently already having used the deferred and the defensive driving. I used an attorney and he got me deferred again. His name is Martin Rubin. Number below.

The simple solution is to never live, work or drive thru Plano. I avoided Plano like the plague when I lived over there.

I can't wait for the day Plano is a ghost town.

You can request a deffered adjudication as many times as you want. It is up to the discression of the judge to allow it. Lawyers are really not needed, and end up costing alot more.

Or just drive the speed limit.
I have worked and lived in Plano for almost 5 years and have been pulled over only one time for having an expired temporary plate. Yes, the cops are a PITA but thats all the more reason to pay attention and follow the speed limit.

Actually it's extremely difficult to drive the speed limit. Many of the roads change the speed limit often. A major street lined with crowded residential areas might be 40 but as soon as the neighborhoods disappear and you have fields on either side of you the speed limit drops to 35 or even 30.

Plano is designed to be a speed trap. Look up city revenues, you'll be amazed at how large a portion comes from tickets. At one time it was #1 behind property taxes.
