LOL. which is the complete opposite of you. I bet even the Department of Agriculture has a record of Zo on the 'No Grow list'.

Maybe it's something else, I don't even remember.

Not really. I was on the fence on a PS3 for a while. But GT5 gave me a nice push. BUT - I got a good deal on my console so you have to look at all the reasons.

Blu Ray discs are getting cheaper (non new releases, and non special editions/sets) are about $6.99-$8.99 depending on where you get them. PSN is free so I don't have to double dip on PSN and XBOXLIVE every month and there might be a few exclusive titles down the line that can justify owning one now.

But GT5 is pretty good game and if they continue tweaking it it could be epic.

I'm not much of a gamer at all, and have probably only used my PS3 as a game console for only 10 hours over the last couple years. However, we use it all the time as a DVD, BluRay, and Netflix player (online content). It makes DVD's look really, really nice on 1080P. It's way better than my 1 year old Samsung BluRay player.

That said, I do plan to get GT5, and I already have a decent steering wheel / pedals that I've only used for a couple hours.

The PS3 has had all of the Blu Ray capabilities standard since day one, while regular Blu Ray players adopted features as they went. I produce and Direct videos and whenever we author a video onto Blu Ray I take then home to check them out on the PS3 as it is bullet proof. The PS3 is still one of the best Blu Ray players you can get. It's biggest drawback is the noisy fan and heat it generates.

You can also usee the PS3 as a computer by installing Linux on it as a dual boot OS. The newer PS3's also use less power and produce less heat, IIRC.
