Wow... maybe I should go check my front discs on the Accord... they've got 185K on them. I've got a new set of rotors, but haven't replaced them because you have to press them onto the hub, and I don't have the equipment. I was hoping they'd be drop-in replacements like the rears were.

Hahah, I work at my Dad's shop on Saturday's. "She" is a 20-ish yo college student who has NO clue how to take care of her car. She came in saying her check oil light was on. By the sounds of the car it was making, we were worried so we decided to check her brakes. That was the result of us finding it!
Of course, her check oil light was on because it had no oil either...

I don't believe it. It seems like you would have some other brake failure with parts being torn off before you could wear a rotor down like that. And pads would not cover that area fully. That looks like it was cut.
