Okay so the other night while I was sleeping a stupid hail storm decided to roll through. I have damage all on the drivers side of the car, hood, and hardtop. Any idea how much insurance will give me and does anyone know of a good place that does hail repair?

I'll be curious about this too. I have a small ding in a hardtop I need to get fixed, looking for a PDR recommendation.

Here is what i did for my boss's car. Insurance told us what shop to go for estimate and i also went to dealer for estimate as well. Sent them a copy of estimate ( dealer quoted much higher, so i sent a dealer's estimate ) and insurance sent a money to my boss. I took it to my buddy shop and did for a lot cheaper.

 

ya get the most expansive quote, like from the dealer or something and send it to the insurance, they ususally ask for 2 different estimates

also will they able to get the dings out the hardtop (aluminum)

I went to the dealer basically none of them will estimate it unless I left them fix it.

 

then they are idiots lol

 

Got a guy that does all my PDR work. He does great work. Had him fix a few spots on my S and about 600~ dents on My wifed Lexus RX after the last hail storm.
