Insurance?
I have been noodling with the idea of getting an S2000 and keeping my RSX for a little while. I checked what my rate change at State Farm would be and they quoted me around an additional $1000 per 6 mos. to add the car as a "pleasure vehicle". Anyone with 2 cars experience the same thing?
Seems outrageous to me, but then again with all the pre-owned S2000s being snapped-up by (ahem) less skilled drivers who like to slam them into walls, it's not completely surprising. The insurance cost is really the only major thing preventing me from pulling the trigger.

Scratch that... They just called back and made an error. It looks like it would be about $700 more per 6 mos, which is a bit more palatable.
Still would be interested to hear what some other multi-car policy holders are doing.

I pay about 800 for 6 months on the RX-8 as a secondary and Miata as primary (but I'm under 25, barely). When I quoted the S2000 at the time I was selling my M3 and contemplating my next vehicle it was about the same.
The S2000 does have horrible insurance records though, they just published the IIHS losses for the 04-06 model year. The S2000 was substantially worse than average for Collision and comprehensive in the small sports car arena. The worst was the Viper followed by the Elise.

I'll try to check my rates when I get home. I'm w/ State Farm, too. Full coverage on both my cars ('95 Accord & '03 S2000, with the S2000 listed as "Pleasure only") is just under $130/month. I also have a multi-line discount, since my homeowner's insurance is with them, too.
Update:
2003 S2000 = 67.28
1995 Accord = 56.12
That's pretty minimal coverage, though.
Liability: 25/50K bodily injury
- 100K Property Damage
$100 deductible non-collision
$500 deductible collision
Emercency towing coverage
Uninsured motorist: 25/50 Injury; 25 Property damage
It also includes about $65/month in reductions (multiline/multivehicle/etc).
Collin County, 30 year old SWM.

I'm paying $135/month on a 1999 Accord and 2004 S2000. The S2000 doubled my rate, effectively.

I pay 149/mo on the '03 S2000 and an '01 4runner.
Edit:
My PIP is 100-300-100
I have $500 for comprehensive and collision
Towing
Rental
Underinsured/Uninsured
I pay $730/yr for the truck and $1008 for the S2000.
