Hey everyone, just moved here from Arizona. Looking in to doing some hpde at Texas motor speedway or miller motorsports park while I'm down here. The roads look like they suck and my s is going to hate it here but o well I suppose I can lift it back up a lil bit... Any one around here do a little mx too? I'll be at cars and coffee in Plano this weekend. I have a nfr ap1 on gold rpf1s.

Closest tracks:

Eagles Canyon: lots of long straights,7 some technical braking points, some technical turns, hard on brakes, considered to be a Corvette or Mustang type track. They have their own track days and I am not sure of other clubs that go here

MSR Cresson: Apex, NASA, The Drivers Edge run here. Three configurations. One technical (1.3 CCW), one flowing (1.7 CW or CCW), and combo (CCW). I instruct with Apex.

For the other tracks like, TWS, Harris Hill, MSR Houston, go to their websites or The Drivers Edge runs at most of them (I think).

Thanks! Looking forward to meeting you guys! I won't be doing any hpde probably until April but that eagles canyon sounds fun. I am gonna join NASA Texas for sure though and try to make as many events as I can. I need to find a trailer for the s soon though so I can make the long distance ones like Houston

I'm mostly retired from MX, but still a big fan, and ride/race cross country on my KTM 250 XC. My bike arrives (from Austin) next week, so I haven't been able to hit any local riding spots yet.

My track time will be mostly divided between MSRC, ECR, and Harris HIll Road.
