A lot of s2ks burn oil, you might try adding an oil catch can. Do a search...

 

i burn about 1 quart every 2000-3000 mi

 

i also heard sometihng with the crank vent would stop the buring from buring

There's something wrong with that, my RX-8 doesn't even drink that much oil and it has oil injectors.

 

I've never owned a Honda that Burned Oil. My 1000RR doesn't burn any either. 0W30 at 12,000 RPMS, never burned any oil.

 

I havent seen my S comsume any oil since Todd put in a new lower end (It's been 20K).

 

ran the oil compression check and he said the engine was in good condition....He recommended i change the oil and see if it happens again...Gonna throw in some royal purple and change the spark plugs and see what happens....

 

that some thick oil! but let me know the update!
