I'm curious now too. I've been hearing a new noise from up there now. Almost like a quiet fluttering sound. Well, if it's TCT or not, I just turned over 90k and am looking at a slew of maintenance items I'm about to do.

if you're close to needing an oil change, go a head and change your oil and see if it's still noisy before buying a new one.

my TCT gets louder as i get closer to oil change time.

negative. ballade sports sells HD versions of these and i have had ZERO problem with mine.
