First off welcome to North Texas jongp3! Someone here might recommend or have a car for sale that suits you, there are two cars I know of. One (a 2008 base model) is at David McDavid Honda in Irving and there is 2008 Rio CR for sale at David McDavid Acura in Plano. Happy hunting and again welcome to the area!
I ended up getting a Private Party, 2006 Silverstone with 24,000 miles! The car was in show room condition with all (what little) records it had. I paid way less than the 2008 McDavid wanted. I'm very happy, the car is everything I've hoped for.

Name is Bob ............ go by many names and lots of fame LOL?? I found out about this forum and group 2 years ago, and have joined in a few spirited rides with you all, but never in a S2000.
Last year decided to purchase a 06 with supercharger. I picked it up in Cali and drove it back to Texas. I tooked it on a ride with the Z group up to the mountains and dropped a valve. Long story short, down for a year but should be rising from the ashes this month. Tried to drop a 04 engine in it, gave up and got an 06. Tried to rebuild old engine with 05 Head, gave up and looking for 06-09 head. Oh ya, if anyone needs a good 04-05 engine or 05 head ..... hit me up.

Not new but haven't had an S since back in early 08 but hopefully if things go as planned by january I'll have another one. Till then I roll with the 05 zx6r

Hello everyone. This is Steve from Duncanville, and I'm picking up my first S2000 on Saturday. I've been wanting one for several years, and got a good deal on a 2002 with 80k miles from a colleague in San Antonio. Currently I drive an MR2 and a BMW 1M. I'm going to be selling my MR2 now to make room in the garage. I general go to cars and coffee with my 1M, and now I'll have to alternate taking the two cars!
Looking forward to meeting more of you, and to some local activities when they happen.
