I vote for texas.s2000online or northtexas.s2000online. When are we expecting to have it up and running?

I'm in favor of dfw.s2000online.com for brevity's sake. If it is good enough for the airport it should suffice in this instance.
Thanks again to Insomniak and cthree.

We should probably avoid "texas" so that we don't step on the toes of our Central Texas brethren but either "dfw" or "northtexas" work for me.

I think to figure this out you have to ask:

Are we DFW S2000 Owners Club or North Texas S2000 Owners Club (NTS2KOC)? I vote for North Texas

When the original club started there was much discussion trying not to be perceived as too narrowly focused. The discussion back then was between

I agree that as far as the club name is concerned DFW is too local although very few if any members live outside the Metroplex. I am avoiding Texas because there is an extremely active group in Austin a few hours drive to the south. A possible alternate, again for brevity's sake would be "ntx" although the meaning might be fuzzy to many, especially outside the area. Our group is still centered about the DFW metro area so I'm strongly inclined to go with the "three letter identifier" DFW.
Other clubs such as Porsche and Miata often adopt names with regional character, Longhorn or Maverick for instance. My sailing fleet is known as "Cowtown Cats" (Hobie Fleet 91).
Even if we went this route the web address could get lengthy.

Thanks for everone's continued input.

Stefan
