It does not look like we will get 50 people for the event. I went ahead and followed through with the one person that accepted my original offer. However, if anyone would like to pitch in and help, you are very welcome to do so, but it will not count as your work assignment. If you want to help, just grab a broom and find a spot that needs some sweeping.

Jamie & I will be there, hopefully with some friends I've been trying to convince to try it out. They'll just watch of course, unless they surprise me by registering within the hour.

Fun day today. I think I may have placed 10 or 11th out of 13. Fast..no. But, I was happy that I knocked off two seconds from morning to afternoon. The main difference between FWD and RWD is throttle. With FWD, the throttle is an on/off switch and cannot rotate car as much (you can, but it is more violent or crude). But with the S2K (and any RWD), the throttle is another steering input and car rotation can be done with more finesse (I guess). Anyway, I hope to wear down these 4 year old tires, get an alignment one of these days and get back out there.

Thanks for putting on another great event guys! The course was very challenging. I really felt like we had to run a compromised line to stay out of the gravel, but that was part of the challenge. I've been driving the R32 too much so spent most of the day getting back into S2000 mode. Tweeking the shocks throughout the day really helped drop some time. Not bad for some year old tires.

Big thanks to Mike for letting me take a run in my old NC! He's got it really hooked up and it was great to drive.
