Default Odd Sighting

Driving East down Plano Parkway last night around 6:15, I see this 18 Wheeler rig on my right about to turn to go east in my direction.

As I get closer, I thought... Is that an 18 wheeler rig? Or a pickup truck? I've never seen anything like this before...

They pull up next to me at the light and it's an 18 wheeler sized diesel pickup truck... they had their stereo turned up as loud as it would go....

Just such a strange vehicle for practical use (and in general), I just don't get it...?

Here are the pics i took:

Naw, that's the International CXT (you can see the logo on the passenger door in the first two pics). I saw one in Chicago in the suburbs, and those things are hugemongous!!!. It's also built here in Tx. (Garland). Starting price for a new one is 120k. Just pray and hope you don't ever have an accident with one of them things. It's one sic truck nontheless.

That'd make a sweet tow rig for a race car. (Not that particular style, but the International RXT).

Wow the cab is just about equal to 3 Elises stacked on top of each other. Their home page just talks about marketing and advertising with it not the work capability of the something that big. Basically it's a giant gas guzzling rolling billboard. Their slogan might as well be "Buy one and become an attention whore!"
