Parade Update!
Everyone,
I just got this information today from the Plano parade organizers.
There are dashboard cards that we will all have to have in order to line up. All ten cars will be together. We will be right in the middle of the parade at row 9. There are 15 rows. This should get us some exposure.

Subject: Row Assignment & Other Important Information
Importance: High
Mailed to you Monday, June 27, was a packet of information containing your dashboard card(s) for parade vehicles. If you do not receive that by Thursdays mail; please contact the chamber office. Remember to display the card(s) in your vehicle(s) prior to entering the line-up lot. It indicates the row assignment for your entry.
YOUR ROW ASSIGNMENT IS 9
Information for Line-up:
- Line-up begins at 7:30 a.m. at Plano Senior High (northeast corner of Park and Independence). The line-up area is the large parking lot bordered by the School to the west and Westside Drive (at the light) to the east. Volunteers will be in place to assist you at the entry point.
- PLEASE do not arrive an earlier than 7:30 a.m. as we will not be prepared and staffed with our volunteers yet.
- All floats/parade vehicles should enter the line-up area off the Westside Drive. There will be no parking allowed on Westside Drive.
- Please have all of your participants park their cars in the three other lots surrounding the school. The only vehicles allowed in the line-up rows are the actual parade vehicles/floats. There will be no parking of non-parade cars in the line-up lot.
- If you have multiple vehicles in your entry, we strongly suggest gathering at a nearby location and arriving in the line-up area all together. When vehicles arrive one by one it is very difficult to leave space in the line-up rows for missing vehicles, and you run the risk of not being all together in the parade.
- This year, there will be a drop off only lane for participants withing the line-up area, at the southern most portion of the lot. All cars must be attended the entire time, and no parking will be highly enforced. Parents of children meeting groups and band members with instruments, please utilize this lane.
- The parade kicks off at 9:30 a.m. The route is approximately 2.2 miles. The end point is St. Elizabeth Setons Church at Spring Creek and Independence. It can take up to one hour to clear the line-up parking lot of all entries.

There is a Dunkin Donuts on Coit Rd. between Parker Rd. and Park Blvd. in Plano. Those coming from Lewisville and Frisco, take the tollway to Parker and go east to Coit. Go south on Coit. Dunkin Donuts is on the right hand side. Those coming from Allen, go east on Spring Creek Pkwy to Coit and South on Coit. Murphy.... straight west on 544 to Coit and north.
Let's meet up at Dunkin Donuts at 8:00 and head on over to the school. We can grab breakfast.
Buy your streamers this week early.
David,
How much should we buy? PM me please......
