Yeah so EgoThreat never responded to my PM about getting a number so I guess I won't have one...

No problem! We'll have plenty of patriotic racing stripes.

There is a Dunkin Donuts on Coit Rd. between Parker Rd. and Park Blvd. in Plano. Those coming from Lewisville and Frisco, take the tollway to Parker and go east to Coit. Go south on Coit. Dunkin Donuts is on the right hand side. Those coming from Allen, go east on Spring Creek Pkwy to Coit and South on Coit. Murphy.... straight west on 544 to Coit and north.

Let's meet up at Dunkin Donuts at 8:00 and head on over to the school. We can grab breakfast.

If we are one of the people on the standby list, how will we be contacted if we are needed, where should we be waiting, and at what time? Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, I did not find it.

Thanks,

Paul

Just a heads up while it is still early enough to do something about it.

I was trying to see exactly how I could mount the stripes today and found that they wanted to blow off so I got some 2" painters tape and ran my stripes. Then I put 1.5" double sided carpet tape on top of that. So tomorrow all I have to do is peel off the top covering on the double sided tape and stick my stripe son. This way my stripe will be adhered all the way down which should keep it on in the wind.

The body is protected from the carpet tape by the blue painter's tape. I had trouble getting the painter's tape to stick at all on my newly Zaino'd car.

Once I am done I can peel the painter's tape off and everything else will come with it.

If you have some painter's tape then go ahead and mask your car tonight. Then tomorrow you can add some doublesided tape or just double over some pieces of painter's tape to hold the middle sections of stripe down.

The big issue I had today is that even just sitting in the yard the wind would blow the stripes off unless I taped the edges with the painter's tape. It showed, but wasn't all that bad looking, I just wanted to do it better.

David, I was thinking of that today while I was at Target. I picked up a roll of painter's tape and figured we would could just run the stripes from the top of the hood to the bottom and wrap it up UNDER the hood, then use the painter's tape and tape it down on the inside of the hood. Would that work, or do you think the heat from the engine will cause the tape to come off? Just a thought, regardless I'll bring the whole roll of painter's tape with me tomorrow in case anyone else needs it.

I also bought a flag from Party City and I think I'm going to use to black eletctrical tape and tape it to the antenna.. that way the tape will match the antenna and it won't look too bad.

Taping around the hood should work, or at least it has for me but then again I haven't let it get hot.

I ran mine into the front grill opening and then taped it at the back of the hood.

But first I closed the hood and the trunk on my big Bows.

I have my numbers on the front fender and my company logo on the door.
