the last time i went, some dude almost lost his cobra replica when he got sideways and hit the curb.
i hope they still do that, that's the big draw (at least for me). i'll probably try to go this weekend.

They don't. Cops are usually present just north of the BMW parking lot on the tollway, shooting radar. Or, like last month, they were actually parked inside the BMW lot itself.

As far as I know, everyone floors it to 45 in front of the cop the two times I went. Theres videos of vipers and all losing it going out and flooring it haha.
Looks like your cobra replica is there hitting the curb
Peer pressure is dumb. I always saw about 3 other s2000s when I went, I park in spectator parking usually cause I got nothing to show.
Edit: Me and my friend will be out there, the earlier you get there, the easier it is to park lol. If you get there around 10ish? or 11? Everyone starts parking in the middle. Kind of why I park in spectator to not get cock blocked in.

and YES, undercover cops do camp out this meet. I went out and turned around on the dallas north tollway service road, and a bmw presumably racing off from cars and coffee was pulled over by an undercover crown vic.

QUIKAG, does that still happen? I saw on their discussion forum that it's not allowed, so I assumed they have some sort of presence all the time these days.
Cars can still goose it a little bit pulling as long as they don't rip it up to 100mph on the access road and not have any trouble with the cops.
I've been to the C&C deal several times and I don't remember seeing an S2000's. You guys need to represent.

It does still happen, but with the increased police presence, it's more subdued. There was a window of time last month where there were no cops in visual sight and some cars took off pretty good without any issues.
