Ok guys, this may seem crazy to everyone but I HAVE to give it a try.
I will be graduating High School on May 27th. This is my third season racing with y'all and I couldn't be happier. Ever since they came out, the S2000 has been my #1 favorite car. Its all around good qualities really impressed me. My desire for an S2000 was only strengthened after getting to drive Photodave's Sebring Silver S2000 at one of the autoX's last year, his kindness is the only reason I have the courage to ask this. Now something else I have always wanted to do is rent a sports car for a week before school is out, I got brochures and stuff from all the luxury rental places in Dallas and such. However, their initial cost is super high, my parents would have to help me with renting it because of age and insurance junk, and living 100 miles away made it totally impractical. Then I had an epiphany, I already know tons of people with my dream car!
So I am asking if anyone would be slightly interested in working out a deal that I could "rent" your S2000 for a week before school is out on May 27th. I am offering a small cash payment and maybe other services. Obviously this is directed at those of you who know me and have an S2000 for pleasure rather than daily driving. I am a very responsible kid, never gotten a ticket or been in any type of accident. Put yourself in my shoes, wouldn't you have loved to drive your dream car back in high school?

I highly doubt someone would do this.. way too much risk. Think about it.. if you go out and get in a wreck (your fault or not) it's going to be hell trying to get insurance to pay for the car.
Why don't you call and see if you can rent a S2000 from somewhere? I know I've seen them being rented in Cali and Las Vegas before.

While I think that if anyone deserves it, Kevin is the guy, I would make sure you understand the potential implications should something happen.
About five years ago, I loaned one of our cars to my sister-in-law while hers was in the shop. She was unfortunately involved in a minor at-fault accident in the car. Her car insurance paid to cover the damages to my vehicle, but the damages to the other vehicle came out of my insurance policy. It was also charged against our insurance as an at-fault accident, even though neither of the insured drivers on the policy (my wife & I) were in the car at the time.

Hmmmm...I think I know a guy that has two S2000s.
Seriously, if anyone would baby another's S2000 it would be Kevin. I can't swing it Kev since it's my daily driver but I hope someone comes through for you.

hmm...how much money are we talking here
I could care less who drives my car, and yes I was in your situation once. I knew someone by acquaintence that was going to let me take his Viper GTS to prom, except I didn't go that year. In all honesty, I wouldn't care if you wanted to even drive my car (it's seen better days before my brother tried to take on a curb with the veilside bumper). The only thing I worry about is insurance. If you did hit someone, I wouldn't want to be held responsible for it. Let me know if something can be worked out as far as insurance goes.

Kevin, Check with your insurance company to see if you're covered when you're driving other people's cars (or "rental" cars). Usually you are covered no matter what car you're driving. I found this out the hard way when I totalled a rental car and they paid for everything, less the deductable. Of course all this is "just in case." I'm sure that nothing will happen and you'll treat that car as if it were your own. Maybe a "contract" to rent the car would satisfy the insurance company if something were to happen.
