The Lone Star chapter of the BMWCCA is having Autocross #5 this coming Saturday. I'll be there, and I was wondering who else was planning on going?

 

I will be there, with the RSX, of course. Let's see how many Bimmers I can beat. First time to try out the new camber kit in competition. Lots more grip available now! Bringing my buddy, too, with his ITR. His first event!

I am ok with being spanked by a street legal car.

PS-Gernby I found a 1971 240 Z with a turbo and many other additions. I am thinking about mustering the 4500.00 and buying it, but I could spend 4500.00 towards supercharging the S.

Well then how does a 78 280Z with an SR20DET sound?

It is lighter has more power, more torque and has the electronic coil on plug ignitions and "fuel injection to match the turbo".

Full Ground Control Coilovers, all energy suspension bushings, etc., etc.

It is sitting in my garage, some assembly required.

FWIW, there's a guy in the local PCA who (I think) still has a 240Z/small-block Chevy monster for sale. He was asking $6500 for it - coilovers, big brakes, cage, seats, loads of torque and no turbo lag...

So Gernby - did you get your alignment fixed after the PCA event?

I'll bet if we all gang up on Gernby and bug him about alignment costs he'll be too flustered to drive well...
