s2000 and EVO X
Ok, I recently sold my 00' civic Si daily driver and bought me a new EVO X as my "daily driver". My plans were to keep the Evo as a daily driver and make the S a play car........but now after driving the evo daily, I'm starting to get the itch on modding it. I have thought about selling the S and using that money towards other small debt I have plus some play money for the EVO......or keep the S and have some fun with it.
What would you guys/gals do?
Did I mention the wifey still won't let me park both cars in the garage so for now, a friend has been nice enough to let me keep one or the other at his house in his extra garage bay (I swap every week or every few days). I've been going back and forth with this idea and I just can't come to a straight decision. Anywho, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say keep one. Sounds like your storage issue will become a PITA, and you're paying double insurance and driving each car only half.
I'm guessing you financed the Evo X. Selling your S2000 and using the proceeds to pay your smaller debts is a good idea. But Using part of it to mod a vehicle with Massive depreciation that you owe money on probably isnt the best thing to do with money in a tight economy.

Id sell the s2k in a heart beat. Thats alot of money tied up in cars, and paying double the insurance isnt fun...
If you had a accord or something instead of the EVO id say keep bothing so you would have one fun car, and one DD, but the EVO is better than the s2k is pretty much every aspect (except top down of course)..
sell it, drop 4k in the evo, put the other 10k to the amount you financed.

EvoX FTW.
It's a better multi-use vehicle. Car seats fit in the back, 4 doors, 5 seats, good on the track, in the snow, reasonably comfortable on the street. The looks are polarizing though, especially if you have the big wing.
The S is a great top down cruiser for sure, but modding it to build any real power is pricey as heck. And most tracks will require some sort of roll bar if that's your thing.
If you dropped $3k into the Evo you could get coilovers, full exhaust and a tune and be making north of 300AWHP and could keep up with dang near everything on the track. You'll then need to budget another bit of money for a new clutch lol.
