Default S2000 Time Trials on track, any interest?

Do you think it is worth it to petition NASA TX, for a S2K specific time trial class similar to the S2K challenge out in California? Do you have interest? If you reply state your level of interest. I am just curious.

This little driving experience with Pete, has sparked my competition gland a little. A worst, can just go and do NASA TTC and not worry about anything S2K specific.

I think if you can demonstrate attendance they would listen. But given that I have seen only two S2000s at different Texas NASA TT events it does not look good. Come out and run in the TT class and see if you can build a group.

Thanks and I agree. I have to renew my competition license and my NASA membership. I am definitely thinking of doing that.

MSR Houston is the first event Jan 19 & 20. It usually draws a big crowd. You just need a TT lic not a full competition lic for TT. Getting a TT lic is a local approval. You need DE experience and to be comfortable with open passing. Register for DE3 and request a TT check ride.

Ok, thanks. I'll check the NASA website. My first event would have to be local to the DFW area. I don't have the $$$ nor the time to do travel events.

David, Would love to do this. If I can get a TT license with a checkride, I am in.
Ken, I assume you are in a different class, but if I see you on track, I will wave as you pass.

S2000s run in TTC or TTB depending on the setup and points.

I would love to do this. Need more information. I have moved to the yellow run group at the Drivers Edge.

I, like Jaundice, would be interested in this, but am a noob at TT or any track event for that matter! What exactly is a NASA event in regards to other motorsports and why would you need a license (davidnyc)? I would assume bc its a tt you would be alone on the track or spread apart far enough to not affect anyone in front of you?
